The workgroup discussed progress of partnerships with the Lifesharing Coalition and the ODP Transition Coordinator. They reviewed the priority action areas identified at the recent face-to-face Coalition meeting to see which the workgroup might take on.

The Permanency and Partner Family strands had their first combined meeting to review past meetings, compare strategies, and develop a workplan to move forward together as one combined workgroup.
Prior to the December 16, 2016 full Coalition meeting, the Permanency/Facilitator workgroup and the Partner Family workgroup were two separate strands. Afterwards, they were combined into on working group.

The Permanency/Facilitator group held their first meeting to discuss how to use the four Coalition system change approaches to advance the charge of their workgroup. Conversation focused on educating change agents on the history of permanency planning in PA, examples from other states, and the Facilitator Workgroup's Pilot Project Proposal.

The Partner Family group held their first meeting to discuss how to use the four Coalition system change approaches to advance the charge of their workgroup. Conversation focused on identifying and demonstrating the feasibility of using existing resources to support the Partner Family model and on collaborating with the Lifesharing community and Managed Care Organizations.
